At only twelve years old, Danny was the first of “the boys” to join the group. He took over the duties as bass player from his dad, Tommy, on New Years Eve 1984. He eventually began singing lead, tenor, and baritone vocals for the group. Though efficient on several instruments, including guitar and dobro, Danny now rarely performs live with the band. However his continued contributions both in the studio and with songwriting are highly instrumental for the group. “He’s like our Brian Wilson.” says Darrell. “He writes and records with us but doesn’t travel as much anymore. But he’s still a huge part of what we do.”
"We really enjoy what we do for the Lord," Danny says. "This is our foundation, and we haven't forgotten that."
